In his heyday, Muhammad Ali was probably the most famous person on earth.
As a young boy growing up on Long Island, NY in the 1960's and 70's, I adored him.
He was handsome, he was articulate, funny, and poetic, and he was an incredible boxer.
He also had great courage, both inside and outside the ring.
