I remember that the admiral in Japan, Yamamoto Isoroku, once mentioned how to lead someone
was to show him, tell him, let him do it, and praise him, then he will do it.
I notice that these days Japanese advanced high schools ask the students to write a paragraph on a certain topic.  It is a nice idea but all his/her life he or she listened to CDs and explanation of teachers, and never read any major books in English nor wrote an essay in the life, how he/she able to write an essay.  I am sure only way to write is to write. We have to write it and ask our fellow young scholars to practice it, too.
Only by doing we can improve.
So my fellow young scholars write, write and speak on any topic you think is appropriate.
