For whom the bell tolls 

About 10 months ago my daughter said to prepare to die.

She said that Yokohama Union Church can't find any pastor after 4 /5 years

there is no way I can have a funeral there.

She said that I should have it at Yokohama Christ Church right across the Yokohama Foreign General Cemetery.  I visited and spoke to Rev. Andrew. He was very nice to tell me he would have a service for me.

I started going there for ten Sunday months, missed one for going to Nagoya University.

I started to be curious about the bell ringing in the beginning of the mass. I found out that there is a volunteer for it.

I thought of help doing that and  I spoke to Rev. Andrew that I am interested and I would like to help them. For about a month I observe the ringing of the bell.

Today, May 7, 2023, cerebration of coronation of King Charles III, I had a chance to toll it. It was not easy and needs a skill yet. Not many people know that you ring it for 33 of Christ life in this world. Rev. Andrew said to ring it 33 times , not 74 of King Charles age. It is 33 years of King of Kings.
