I live in Yokohama. I live near China Town. My friends and classmates were/are Chinese. We were/are the cosmopolitan classmates/friends.

Dear Students and Friends
I live in Yokohama.  I live near China Town. My friends and classmates were/are Chinese.
Looking back, most Chinese worked harder and studied harder than myself.
I always loved this atmosphere. I love Chinese and I am proud of them.
Our school had the atmosphere of cosmopolitan. It is true that in the old days there were more Caucasians and native English speakers than my days but I was lucky to live with the Orientals who studied hard to be better than today.  Our teacher, Brother Germain had said ,I came to teach Orientals and proud of it. We live in global world. Our school was the best example of today
s global education should be.
