Dear Students and Friends
Today I had Ferris Reading and Writing in the morning.
I mentioned about gtoferris@gmail.com site for any suggestions or notice to me.
I also mentioned our Blog: 国際教育研究所
to see it everyday for checking the notice of class and also for think English purpose.
We covered Unit on Immigration and told them to think about uit after listening to Reading section more twice.
I mentioned that there is a written test at the very end of session but Journal should be the main work and there will be a presentation test on May 30th and in June and in July. These presentation of your Journal is far more important than a test in the end of semester.

I had spent morning with Ikuta students. Some of them mentioned that they could not get into e-workbook of our "Global". I think what I can say is try or find other students who could do it.
We started with NHK E and listened to Unit 4, later did presentation on Music and back to Unit 4
on Hopes and Fears.
Next: Speak on page 43:
" A place you hope to visit one day"
"Something you hope you don't do in the future."
"Something you're not looking forward to"
" A person you'd like to meet one day"
Plus hope to have more pair work.

Dear Students and Friends
Today is Aoyama Day.
Morning the Listening class did the presentation of Food; but we overextended time looking at You tube; we should spend 5 minutes from next session.
Afternoon, we spent on the chapter 1 test, next we should check by exchanging each others test.
Most probably on Chapter 6, Global food.
News is not bad but try to read other news too.
The Book report will be on June 10th.
There is no class on June 24th, due to a speech contest judge.

Today I had Ferris in the morning. I was late due to terrible traffic jam.
Today we had Journal exchange and Journal reading.
Our topic of this Unit 2 was " Creative Thinking". We should think and write of
it.
I hope next Monday give some good quotes to all from their textbook.

Christian Believes that 50 days after the resurrection of Jesus Christ from his death
that holy spirit came down to His disciples and gave them power to speak and preach people.
The Religious Organization of Friends believe very strongly on it and they have no other ceremony than just be quiet and listen to inner voice of oneself.
Chinese Quote:同工異曲 どうこういきょく
meaning: music or performance may be same but how you perform or technique differs from one to another.
Or, it means what looks outside differ but content or inside is same.
Hope this will be a hint for writing or speaking homework.
