I met Mr. Dewa, formerly Mr. Duer
His father graduated from St. Joseph College and went to a Japanese middle school in Chiba and entered Jikei Medical School Yoka and outbreak of the war with English and Americans.
That made him enter the Interim Camp in Horse race Track of Negishi and later to Yamakita.
His Brother , Mr. Duer was still in middle school( St. Joseph College) so he did not have to join the Camp but went to St. Joseph College in Gora, where it was relocated. That is the reason he saw the
massive bombing of Yokohama in 1945.
I met the author of the Duer's diary today. He became Japanese and graduated from A Japanese university worked in Honda and strangely assigned to his grandfather and father's home country,
UK in his assignment from Honda with his family and strangely my daughter's family may be assigned to our ancestor's land.
I heard every first Saturday of June they have a special memorial service for people in Interim camp.
