Good Testimony from a parent of 

Yokohama Christian School.

One parent said that Yokohama Christian School is very fine school and teachers are so good and kind.

Listening to that Mr. D. Yang an expert in Yokohama business said that is the best testimony for business,

a client has a good remark.

I had a chance to meet the principal of the school and mentioned that. She was very happy about it.

I also mentioned that I won't be attending the board meeting on Saturday because I am attending Gyosei Internal Elementary School Nagareyama for their open campus  day.

She also knows I  am working on a presentation about "international schools in Japan".

I learned from my study that YMCA Osaka has a city government international school which Horizon was not able to take it and now they have it in Yokohama and Sendai. 

Tokyo YMCA international school is growing step by step and has a high school today.

My idea is that Yokohama has two descent international schools but we are far behind in the others.

It is like EV cars in the world. We must have a good international schools like that in Osaka.

Traditionally YMCA Osaka starts a project and Yokohama follows it. That was true about forty/fifty years ago with YMCA Yobikou ventures.  Now I think it is international schools.

I was against new international schools in Japan which I did lot of involvements but listening to SJC/SJIS alumni in HongKong, I feel they are gradually coming here and we have not enough international schools.

As we are Christian , the principal and I agreed that Yokohama YMCA and Yokohama Christian School should work together to help each other.

I shall ask people who are in the field to see what we can do together.

What I heard from Mr. Takarada

The Condo 8th floor in front of Union is ￥350 million where our friend O. from HongKong lives.

I said he is a nice guy with a small kid going to Motomachi Shogakko and later would like to go to international school, maybe his Alma Mater YIS which looks like educational quality he thinks is not good, so maybe St. Maur's..

Mr. Takarada said St. Maur's told the SJC site developer that they will be quiet for this Condo project with exchange of getting the land of SJC side cliff. With this St. Maur's could get quite a size of land to expand the property so they could get 100 more students and that enabled them to get out from red. 

I said is it Mr. Bracha who was the director of development of St. Maur did all the work? and Mr. T said yes, it was all his great accomplishment. I said: I heard from St. Maur's graduates that Mr. B got his kick backs from his work there.

Mr. T is that Mr. B is so rich that won't have to do it. Mr. B. told Mr. T that

he got ￥2400,000,000

from his business.

I said is that so....

Mr. T said Mr. B works for Costco and told Mr. T how Costco operates. They give 1500 yen per hour to workers, most of them foreign women and raise to 1700 yen in one two years. That is the trick, high in the beginning but never raise later and operated by 9 American managers and the rest underpaid.

I said is it so...

Percolating on "international schools in Japan"

and Nursery school on Tuesday 

There used to be a boy in the nursery school with a special education case 

supervise daily a "shadow" and today found out he had a great improvement.

The founder was always positive for such case, her son was one of them and today he is a young professor of Tokyo University after graduating Ph D with Summa Cum Laude and top student of Science department.

I forgot behavioral analysis was my field and there is a lot of demand to it. 

Christian School has four, Aobadai Nursery has four and there is an international school for it in Tokyo.

3. Homework : work on TOEFL Structure and Vocabulary.

4. Bring the notebook next time, Wednesday

5. Wednesday: Listening TOEFL test and First Certificate

6. If the weather is bad, call you, but I think it looks OK.

Never knew that Nagareyama and Kashiwa 

were deloping so rapidly.

7 years ago when Gyosei Kokusai made their International Elementary School

they were the only building next to Nagareyama Central Park station; now the venue filled with modern buildings.

Kashiwa no Mori, next Tsukuba Express station has Tokyo University third campus and Chiba University facility, soon the British Rugby School will have their Japanese campus in Chiba University campus,; Oodaka no Mori station has a huge area type of Kinokuniya Book Store where I went and Lalaport Mitsui complex of shopping center and the town resembles that of Musashi Kosugi in more flat and larger and more modern.
