Dear Students and Friends
My visit of Arimatsu in Nagoya was wonderful with its beautiful weather.
My mother(Japanese) started her dramatic life as one of the daughters of its 300 year-old tie dye Shibori merchant family member. As like me she changed her surname three times before becoming Okuhara and Hisada was her father's family. Hisada was so successful one time that my grandfather had donated a piece of land for Arimatsu Elementary School, even now standing while the donor's property totally disappeared in the early Showa depression.
This is my roots.
